Tokyo Boat Tours acts as a booking, management, and service coordination provider. The actual operation of vessels and navigation of tours are conducted by licensed and authorized third-party operators in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Each tour is offered as a private experience for the booked party only, subject to the details, route, duration, and conditions described on the relevant tour page.
Tour contents, routes, departure points, arrival points, and onboard details may vary depending on the course selected, weather conditions, safety considerations, and operational requirements.
2. Reservations
Reservations are made through this website. A reservation is considered confirmed only after all required booking information has been submitted and payment has been successfully completed.
Tokyo Boat Tours reserves the right to decline a booking request or refuse service where necessary for operational, safety, legal, or practical reasons.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed on each relevant tour page. Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
A reservation will not be considered complete until payment has been successfully processed. If payment is not completed, the requested time slot is not guaranteed.
4. Guest Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when making a reservation, including contact details and any other information required for the service.
Tokyo Boat Tours is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the customer.
5. Arrival and Boarding
Customers are expected to arrive at the designated meeting point on time. Details regarding the meeting location and boarding instructions will be provided in connection with the booking.
Late arrival may affect the operation of the tour. In some cases, the tour may need to be shortened, modified, or treated as a same-day cancellation or no-show, depending on the circumstances and operational feasibility.
6. Weather and Operational Conditions
All tours are subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, vessel conditions, port conditions, navigational restrictions, and other operational factors.
For safety or operational reasons, Tokyo Boat Tours may, at its sole discretion, delay, shorten, reschedule, modify, or cancel a tour. This includes situations involving unsafe weather, strong winds, rough water, mechanical issues, navigation restrictions, crew availability issues, or other circumstances that make normal operation difficult or inappropriate.
Where a tour is canceled by Tokyo Boat Tours for weather or safety reasons, the customer will be offered either rescheduling or a refund in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Safety and Onboard Conduct
Customers must follow all instructions given by the captain, crew, or staff before and during the tour.
For safety reasons, Tokyo Boat Tours may refuse boarding or terminate a tour if a guest:
- behaves in a dangerous, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate manner,
- appears excessively intoxicated,
- fails to follow safety instructions,
- creates a risk to the vessel, crew, other guests, or surrounding property,
- or otherwise makes the safe operation of the service difficult.
In such cases, refunds may not be provided.
8. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. Tokyo Boat Tours is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items except where required by applicable law.
Customers are also responsible for ensuring that the service they book is appropriate for their group, schedule, and personal circumstances.
9. Tour Content and Images
Photos, descriptions, and route examples shown on this website are intended to provide a general illustration of the experience. Actual conditions, views, vessel assignment, and tour flow may vary depending on the date, time, weather, season, and operational conditions.
Tokyo Boat Tours will make reasonable efforts to provide the booked experience as described, but does not guarantee identical visual conditions, routes, or environmental circumstances on every occasion.
10. Vessel Assignment
The vessel used for a particular booking may vary depending on operational scheduling, maintenance, safety considerations, and availability. Any vessel assigned for the service will be suitable for the booked experience and operated according to the applicable requirements and conditions.
11. Limitation of Liability
Tokyo Boat Tours shall not be liable for delays, changes, interruptions, or cancellations caused by weather, sea conditions, government restrictions, navigational restrictions, mechanical problems, accidents not caused by its willful misconduct or gross negligence, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Customer cancellations, operator cancellations, rescheduling, and refund conditions are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on this website.
13. Refusal or Termination of Service
Tokyo Boat Tours reserves the right to refuse, suspend, shorten, modify, or terminate service where necessary for safety, legal compliance, operational feasibility, or serious customer misconduct.
